Origin

CDSI Argentina, S.A. (CDSIA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of CDSI International (CDSII) which is incorporated under the laws of the state of Delaware, USA. CDSII was a wholly owned subsidiary of Computer Data System, Incorporated, a corporation under the laws of the state of Maryland.
In September 1997, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol ACS, bought CDSI and all its subsidiaries. CDSI changed its name to Affiliated Computer Services Government Solutions Group (ACS GSG), a wholly owned subsidiary of ACS. CDSII and CDSIA did not undergo a name change at the time of the purchase by ACS and continue to operate under the old CDSI name.
As a subsidiary of a public company, CDSIA revenues are rolled into the CDSII revenues that are then consolidated with the owning companies revenues.

Knowledge and Experiences

CDSIA’s experience in the Cordoba Quiniela is an excellent example of a total integration and networking project.
From the architecture and networking standpoint, the Quiniela system is a fine example of bringing together everything that was available to install a system that is cost effective and reliable. CDSIA designed an architecture that allowed for less use of the communications and for a system that continues to operate even if various communications circuits fail.
The network consisted of point-to-point circuits (wire and radio) as well as dial-up circuits using radio trunking, common telephone service, and wireless telephone service.
